2020 Race Status Update

Although Wisconsin is starting to reopen, we are still living in a time of uncertainty. We have been working diligently to determine how to effectively proceed with hosting the Humdinger 5K in a safe manner for our participants, staff, volunteers and spectators. The addition of open food throughout the course at each of the challenges is also an additional chance of exposure and area of concern during these uncertain times. With Wisconsin recently experiencing an increase in cases, we feel it would be irresponsible of us to proceed with this event in 2020.  As we have all witnessed, these guidelines and recommendations are continually evolving and the future is still so unclear. With this, we are deeply saddened to be announcing the cancellation of the 2020 Humdinger 5K.

As such, participants will be given the option to defer their race entry to The Humdinger 5K 2021 or donate their registration fee. Further details regarding these options and how to proceed have been sent to all registered participants. This was not the news we wanted to share with you all but we appreciate the continued support of all our participants, volunteers, and staff!

Join us for a “ Wisconsin traditions” themed fun run/walk where participants encounter three “challenge stations” throughout the 3.1 mile course!

  • Challenge 1: Eat a fully cooked brat with bun (vegetarian option available)
  • Challenge 2: Eat 5oz of fresh cheese curds from Farmer Johns' Cheese
  • Challenge 3: Drink 16oz of beer from Hop Haus(for those 21+) or non-alcoholic beverage

At each challenge station, the item being consumed must be completely swallowed before moving onto the next challenge. All challenge stations are optional.

Not interested in participating in the run/walk? Feel free to come on out and enjoy the festival atmosphere!
